What's the benefit?
If you’re certified through the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI)—as a Certified Director of Safety (CDS), Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS), or another designation—you're required to renew your certification regularly. Sentry Road can help.
Most of our transportation safety courses qualify for NATMI renewal credit.
That means the same training you assign to your team can count toward your professional development.
How It Works
- 2 points are awarded by NATMI for every 8 contact hours of qualifying training.
- You’ll receive 0.25 points per hour of eligible online training.
- No special pre-approval is required. Courses simply need to meet NATMI’s criteria for being:
- Focused on transportation, driver safety, fleet operations, security, or maintenance management
- Professionally relevant to your role

After completing a course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion. Submit that to NATMI during your renewal process here.
